Reports
Review reports and prepare data for your accountant
Filter rental and financial reports, export available CSV views, and find the separate accounting export.
Use reports to inspect an operating period before sharing data. Existing reports can export selected views. The separate accounting export provides individual files and a field mapping when available in your account; confirm that the feature is present before relying on it.
- Open Reports and search for the rental, cash flow, receivables, or Profit and loss report view your accountant needs.
- Open the report, set its Analysis period and any available accounting-basis filter, then choose Update. Check that its totals match the underlying rental and financial records.
- Where the report offers it, select Export CSV. Note the report name, period, and any filters applied to the export. Some views offer a PDF or spreadsheet instead; the financial report's account-statement tab currently has no CSV action.
- If Accounting export is available in Finance → Reports, follow Export accounting CSV files to download the individual files and field mapping. Check revenue, expenses, receipts, currency, dates, identifiers, and separately stated tax against the source records.
- Give the file and mapping to your accountant. Agree on import rules and verify one import in the accounting product and version they use before repeating it.
Note: CSV is not native QuickBooks synchronization, and a successful download does not prove an import will work. The accounting export consists of separate files, not one combined package, and FacilRental has not yet verified a QuickBooks import. An individual report export is not a complete accountant package. Tax treatment and P&L basis require an accountant's judgment.
